from the director

La Fonderie de l’Image, a historic CFA (apprenticeship training center) for over 35 years, is a vocational school located east of Paris that trains nearly 800 young people each year, from high school to master's degree level, in the fields of graphic design, digital creation, and visual communication. At the crossroads of education, creation, and cultural industries, La Fonderie de l’Image relies on project-based teaching, closely linked to professional realities and contemporary creative challenges. It also has a strong international dimension, notably through international workshops and Erasmus+ mobility programs. A resource center for reflection and experimentation, the Fonderie de l'Image produces and hosts events that bring together professionals, researchers, and players in the contemporary graphic design scene, such as the International Typography Conference, the Puces de l'Illu, and the Puces Typo.
