The OFF ACADEMIE in conjunction with the Avignon Festival
A new professional training program focusing on creation, production and immersion at the Festival Off d'Avignon
By 2025, ASTAARTSCENE and AICOM combine their expertise to create an original professional training program dedicated to the performing arts: the OFF ACADEMIE.
Designed as a veritable creative laboratory, the OFF ACADEMIE offers artists an immersive course from November to July, with a concrete goal: participation in the Festival Off d'Avignon, France's leading independent theater event.
Multi-disciplinary training rooted in the reality of the stage
What makes OFF ACADEMIE so special is its cross-disciplinary approach:
→ each year works on creating an original show, open to all artistic disciplines: singing, theater, dance, music...
Artists are supported at every stage of the process, from writing to public performance, with a dual objective:
- develop their individual and collective creativity
- prepare them for the professional requirements of the artistic sector
A teaching approach that combines creation, production and autonomy
Beyond the artistic aspect, OFF ACADEMIE places professionalization at the heart of its program. Participants learn to :
- produce a show from A to Z (contracts, legal structure, administration, communication)
- understand the nuts and bolts of independent production
Training complete and responsible artists
The OFF ACADEMIE reflects the Schools of Arts group 's commitment to offering innovative formats, in line with the realities of the field, to support the new generation of artists towards greater autonomy, creativity and mastery of their professional environment.
